Jaisalmer, March 15: Two Air India aircraft arrived in Jaisalmer on Sunday morning carrying 236 Indian nationals stranded in Iran amid the worldwide corona epidemic. These include 100 women and 136 men.

All citizens were screened at Jaisalmer Civil Airport. All civilians have been rushed from the airport to the Army Wellness Center, where they will be kept under the supervision of doctors for 14 days. Isolation wards have been built in the wellness center, which are working under the supervision of the army. Regular health tests will be done for all people. After 14 days, if found completely healthy, they will be sent to their respective homes.

Significantly, the Government of Rajasthan has notified Corona under the Rajasthan Epidemic Diseases Act. After malaria, dengue, swine flu and TB, corona has now been added. After being notified, now every doctor of the state, whether it is government or private practitioner, will have to immediately inform the government of every patient with symptoms of corona.
