Time magazine praises CM Yogi Adityanath’s Covid Management

Lucknow, 06 January: The efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government in the battle against Corona have once again been appreciated internationally after the World Health Organization (WHO). American weekly news magazine ‘Time’ has published a report praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s steps taken for corona control.

In this, the Yogi government has been praised for the tasks of corona control in a state with a large population like Uttar Pradesh. The report praised the efforts of the government for controlling the deaths due to corona infection in the state and continuous increase in recovery rate.

The report said that the way Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took steps to control the Covid pandemic, even in adverse conditions of the health structure, is an incomparable example for all. After the first case came to light in February 2020, the manner in which the Chief Minister assessed the health system of the state and formulated a strategy to take necessary steps with the officials is laudable. When the governments of other states of the country were not taking any step, at the same time, Chief Minister Yogi prepared a full blueprint of the fight.

The report stated that the ‘Janata Curfew’ was imposed on March 22, 2020. But, Yogi Adityanath was the first chief minister to declare a three-day lock-down immediately and assess the situation so that the supply of essential commodities to the common people is not interrupted during the lockdown.

At the same time, when the pandemic started spreading, there was only one laboratory in the state, which had a capacity of only 60 samples per day. However, 234 laboratories are currently carrying out corona testing, making maximum use of all their resources. Due to these, 1.75 lakh corona samples can be tested daily in the state today. Uttar Pradesh also holds the record for the most corona test. About 19 million tests have been done so far.

The state government also rapidly prepared dedicated Covid hospitals for better treatment of patients. There are now 674 Covid hospitals in the state. Of these, 571 are Level-1 and 77 hospitals are Level-2. Also, 26 hospitals have been prepared for Level-3.

The magazine has praised Yogi Adityanath’s activism for controlling the deaths from corona in the state and increasing the recovery rate by more than 94 percent.

Special mention is made of Chief Minister Yogi’s Team-11 in the magazine. The Chief Minister formed Team-11 with senior officers of the state, with whom he reviews the state daily and gives appropriate instructions.

The magazine has also appreciated the work done by the Uttar Pradesh government on contract tracing for corona control. Through this Yogi government goes door-to-door to investigate and investigate patients with symptoms. The unique initiative of contract tracing has already received appreciation from the World Health Organization, which has also helped in identifying infected patients.

At the same time, the magazine has also mentioned about the Integrated Command and Control Center to be built in all 75 districts of the state. Through this, the actions taken by the government have also been praised.

Along with this, the magazine has also praised the works of Chief Minister Yogi and his government for the work done for the immigrants, continuous increase in employment etc.
