Mumbai, December, 05: Film director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is bringing the film ‘The Kashmiri Files’ for the audience, narrating the pain of the Kashmiri Pandits. The film will have Anupam Kher, informed by film director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri himself. He tweeted,

In 1991, many Kashmiri Pandits had to leave their homes. Violence also took place during this period. Through this film, we will be showing what problems Kashmiri Pandits had gone through during this period.

Earlier, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s film ‘The Tashkent Files’ was released in April this year, based on the mysterious death of the country’s second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and the facts related to it. While the film was also successful at the box office. However, it was made in a budget of four crores but the film did a business of 17 crores at the ticket counters.
