New Delhi, December 05: On December 10, the Supreme Court will decide on the petition seeking to live telecast the hearing on the petitions filed against the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. However, the court has not yet fixed the date of hearing on the case of Jammu and Kashmir. The live telecast petition has been filed by the ย former thinker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) K.N. Govindacharya.

Advocate Vikas Singh on behalf of Govindacharya, when demanded  the bench headed by Chief Justice S.A. Bobde for the live telecast of the hearing on the abrogation of  Article 370, the Chief Justice said that we will consider it. The petition said that the Supreme Court had in 2018 allowed the live telecast of the important case hearings in the Supreme Court.

The petition said that the hearing related to Article 370 is very important and it has been covered extensively by the media. The petition said that it is inconceivable in today’s Digital India that the Supreme Court is not recording its proceedings.
