Suspected patient of corona virus found at Lucknow airport, admitted in Lok Bandhu hospital

Lucknow, March 03: COVID-19, short form of novel corona virus disease, which is spreading rapidly in the entire world from China’s Wuhan city, is now allegedly knocked in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow too. A patient suspected of corona virus has been found at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Tuesday.

However, he is admitted directly from the airport to the isolation ward of Lok Bandhu Hospital at LDA colony at Ashiana.

According to the hospital’s director  DS Negi, the sample will be collected and sent to the microbiology department of KGMU for examination. The central team has also conducted inspection.

He told that looking at the patient, there is a possibility of corona virus. However, only after investigations, it will be confirmed whether the young man has been infected by this virus or not.

In fact, a 32-year-old resident of Rudauli in Ayodhya came from Saudi. During the investigation at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, the youth found suspicious signs of COVID-19.

The young man was examined by a panel of doctors at the international airport on duty. He was admitted to the isolation ward of the Lokbandhu Hospital. So far, around 1500 people have been screened at the capital’s airport.

Reserve more than 100 beds in the capital

According to Lucknow CMO Narendra Agarwal, more than 100 beds have been reserved in all hospitals of the capital, given the severity of corona virus. Officials of the Civil Hospital, Lohia, Balrampur, KGMU and Lokbandhu Hospital have been asked to reserve separate beds for the corona virus dosease at every cost.
