New Delhi, March 03: BJP leader Kapil Mishra has made a big claim on the death of Intelligence Bureau (IB) sleuth Ankit Sharma during the violence in the north-eastern region of Delhi. Mishra said that at the time when Ankit Sharma was killed, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilor Tahir Hussain was present in his house.

Mishra alleged that Tahir had spoken to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh and party MLA from Okhla seat Amanatullah Khan more than 50 times when riots were taking place and Ankit was killed.

Mishra wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, “The media has all the call records of Tahir Hussain. He was at home on the day Ankit Sharma was killed. Tahir also lied and Sanjay Singh too. Amidst the riots and murders, Tahir Hussain spoke to Sanjay Singh, Kejriwal and Amanatullah Khan more than 50 times. Why is there silence in the media?

It is noteworthy that there were violent clashes between supporters and opponents of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). After this there were riots in many areas of north-east Delhi. Allegations of inciting riots in East Delhi are being leveled against Kapil Mishra and AAP corporator Tahir Hussain.

On the other hand, in connection with the killing of Ankit Sharma and inciting riots, Delhi Police is constantly searching for Tahir Hussain. However, AAP has expelled Tahir from the party after accusing him of killing IB officer Ankit Sharma.
