In the team-9 meeting today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered to end the statewide weekly bandh on Sunday in view of the deteriorating condition of Covid. After this, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Home Awanish Kumar Awasthi issued a Government Order (GO) in this regard.

According to the GO, now permission has been given to allow activities on all days of the week i.e. from Monday to Sunday from 6 am to 10 pm with the condition of making masks mandatory, distance of two yards and use of sanitizers. It has also been said in the mandate that the night curfew will continue in all the markets of the state from 10 pm to 6 am. The Chief Minister took the decision after considering it sympathetically. However, Chief Minister Yogi has also directed that the Covid protocol should be followed at every place and in every case. There should be no unnecessary crowding anywhere and the police kept on patrolling continuously.
