Row over Badaun court’s judge suicide gets murkier, murder case registered after family alleges foul play

Badaun, 4 Feb: In the case of the death of District Civil Judge Junior Division Jyotsna Rai, father Ashok Kumar Rai once again reiterated that his brave daughter can never commit suicide. The brother has accused the police of negligence during the investigation.

At the same time, a notice has been issued by the District Judge to the Chief Medical Officer for the delay in the arrival of post-mortem by the panel doctor who conducted the autopsy.

On the complaint of father Ashok Kumar Rai in the case of death of Civil Judge Junior Division Jyotsna Rai in the district, the police have registered a case of murder and started investigation. On Sunday, a team of three doctors conducted the post-mortem of the body under the panel. After post-mortem the body was handed over to the relatives for the last rites.

The family took the daughter’s body to the ghat of river Saryu in Ayodhya. On behalf of father Ashok, it has been said that his daughter was promising and very brave. When the daughter spoke to her mother on phone before the incident, she was very happy.

In such a situation, the question arises that how can his daughter take such a step as suicide. On the basis of the complaint given by the father, the police have registered a case in Sadar Kotwali. Brother Himanshu Shekhar Rai said that the police has not investigated this matter properly. Former SP MP Dharmendra Yadav reached the post-mortem house and consoled the family and talked about getting justice for the daughter.
