Dehradun, 4 Feb: Now Muslim Seva Sangathan will take to the streets against UCC. President of Muslim Seva Sangathan, Naeem Qureshi said on Sunday that bringing UCC is a direct attack on a particular religion.

Naeem Qureshi said that it has come to light from media reports that out of the Uniform Civil Code provisions, four provisions directly attack Muslim Personal Law. It turns out that bringing Uniform Civil Code means abolishing Muslim Personal Law.

He said that leaving out the Scheduled Caste Tribe area in the UCC raises serious questions on the unity of this law which will create discrimination and inferiority complex among the people of the state, which cannot be tolerated.

Qureshi said, “We are ready to take to the streets against this law while following our constitutional rights, that too will be done and a legal battle will be fought.”
