Rivers flowing above danger mark in four districts of Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, July 29: At present all the embankments of the state are safe, there is no worrying situation anywhere. In the last 24 hours, the average rainfall in the state is 16.1 mm, which is 152 percent against the normal rainfall of 10.6 mm, Uttar Pradesh Relief Commissioner Ranveer Prasad gave this information on Thursday evening.

He said that the average rainfall in the state was 334.7 mm since June 1, which is 97 percent against the normal rainfall of 344.9 mm.

He said that Ganga was flowing above the danger level at Kachla Bridge, Badaun, Sharda River at Paliyakala Kheri, river Ghaghra at Turtipar Ballia and at Kwan Chandradeepghat, Gonda. A total of 37 teams of NDRF, SDRF and PAC have been deployed for search and rescue in the rain affected districts of the state. 425 boats have been deployed in the flood affected areas and 177 medical teams have been deployed. 152 people were evacuated to a safe place by NDRF, SDRF.

Prasad informed that so far a total of 4711 dry ration kits and a total of 16,977 food packets have been distributed. 411 flood shelters and 617 flood outposts have been established in the state. The number of animal camps set up in the state in the last 24 hours is 12, so far a total of 258 animal camps have been established. The number of animal vaccinations in the last 24 hours is 12,146 and the total number of animal vaccinations so far is 1, 20,957.
