Lucknow, 05 October: In the 179th meeting of Lucknow Development Authority, the decision was taken in favor of the occupants of four thousand EWS-LIG flats. Now the people living in EWS and LIG flats will be surveyed and registered in their names.

Initial investigation by the authority has revealed that along with getting allotment of EWS-LIG flats, many people settled other people there.

In this case, registration could not be done on time. In the board meeting, instructions have been given to the registry to cancel the allotment of flats in the name of the original allottee and make allotment in favor of the original occupant or holder.

There are many such cases in the city in Kanpur Road, Sitapur Road, Moti Nagar, Azad Nagar, Gomti Nagar, Sharda Nagar, Jankipuram, Jankipuram Extension, where the original allottees are not living. Other people are living in their place. Perhaps the EWS-LIG flats have been taken on rent since the original allottee acquired them.

Authority Secretary Pawan Kumar Gangwar, who was present in the meeting, said that further action will be taken quickly in the cases which have been approved in the board meeting. For which a survey will be conducted by forming teams at the zone level. The registry will be in the name of the original owner and occupier.
