Ayodhya, June 18: Due to the escalation of tension on the Indo-China border, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has postponed the schedule of ‘Bhumi Pujan’ for construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on July 2.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited on July 2 for the ‘Bhumi Pujan’ programme which was to be done via video conferencing.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai on Thursday paid homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the Galwan Valley and prayed to God to grant patience and strength to the grieving families.

Trust general secretary Champat Rai said that the security of the country is paramount for all of us. The construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on July 2 will not be inaugurated at present. The date of the construction period will be announced by looking at the situation of the country.

It is noteworthy that the leveling the ground at Ram Janmabhoomi site has been completed for the construction of a grand temple in Ram Janmabhoomi.

However, now the construction of the temple has to be given momentum after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Bhoomi Pujan. For this, the chairman along with the members of the trust had met the Prime Minister and took the time of July 2, which was put off today.
