Meerut, 05 September: Through the Kisan Mahapanchayat being held in Muzaffarnagar, the exercise of a grand alliance like 2019 has started against the BJP in the 2022 UP assembly elections. Slogans were raised from the platform of Kisan Mahapanchayat to defeat BJP in UP and Uttarakhand. With this, the intention of forming a grand alliance against the BJP in UP in the 2022 elections has become clear.

The RLD leadership gave its open support to the Kisan Mahapanchayat and campaigned openly to bring people into the Mahapanchayat.

Similarly, the leaders of the Samajwadi Party also gave their workers a free hand to go and campaign in favor of the Mahapanchayat.

In the Mahapanchayat, leaders like Yogendra Yadav, Medha Patkar, Gurnam Singh Chaduni openly attacked the BJP government. He clearly said that it is necessary to overthrow the BJP government at the Center and in UP. From the stage, BKU leaders announced to work openly against the BJP.

The emphasis was on the equations before the 2013 riots

Medha Patkar, Yogendra Yadav vented their anger on the Muzaffarnagar riots of 2013. In his speech from the dais, they stressed on making the equations before the 2013 riots and termed the BJP as a party of communal riots.

Efforts to revive the Muslim-Jat equation

This mahapanchayat may have been called to protest against the agricultural laws, but it is clear from the speeches from the stage that the exercise to restore the Muslim-Jat equation of West UP should be intensified. The participation of a large number of Muslims in the Mahapanchayat corroborates this point. Along with this, BKU leader Rakesh Tikait made his political intention clear by raising slogans of Allah-Hu-Akbar and Har-Har Mahadev from the stage.

Intention to try again in western UP

Through the Kisan Mahapanchayat, the BKU and RLD leadership have shown their power in front of the BJP and heated up the political situation.

Political analyst Pushpendra Kumar said that while the BKYU is in the mood to play a political innings through the Kisan Mahapanchayat, the RLD is trying to get its lost political ground. That is why the atmosphere of Mahapanchayat has been created. This Mahapanchayat will not have much political impact. Only BJP will benefit from this in the upcoming elections of UP.

Emphasis on alliance of SP, BSP, Congress, AAP

Political pundits say that the purpose of BKU and RLD is to show their political power through Mahapanchayat. Through this, they will be able to have good seat coordination with parties like SP in the assembly elections. Efforts will also be made to include Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in this alliance.
