DM sets target to vaccinate over 1 lakh in Lucknow on September 6

Lucknow, 05 September: District Magistrate (DM) Lucknow Abhishek Prakash said on Sunday that a massive Covid-19 inoculation day is being organized in the capital on September 6.

The DM informed that vaccination will be done at a total of 461 booths of 160 session sites in the city. Around 250 beneficiaries will be vaccinated at each booth.

The District Magistrate said that against the target of 86,400 set by the government, a target has been set to vaccinate more than one lakh beneficiaries in Lucknow district. In the said campaign, the beneficiaries will be covered with the first and second doses using both Covishild and Covaxin vaccines.

In addition to online slot booking, 104 workplace CVCs have also been created for this campaign. In which the beneficiary will have to go to the identified session places with only ID card (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter Card, Passport, and Driving License) where the beneficiary will be vaccinated by registering on the CoWin portal. In this campaign, arrangements have been made for the beneficiary’s seating, drinking water, sanitizer and mask etc.

The District Magistrate said that on Monday, a total of 160 centers in the district, including 12 district level hospitals such as Balrampur Hospital, Dr. SPM Hospital, Lokbandhu Raj Narayan Hospital, Rani Laxmibai Joint Hospital, KGMU, Dr. RML Hospital, BRD Hospital Mahanagar, Ram Sagar Mishra 100 Bed Hospital Sadamau, 100 Bed Hospital Thakurganj, Jhalkari Bai Chikitsalaya, Avanti Bai Chikitsalaya and 19 Urban and Rural Community Health Centers, 18 Primary Health Centers, 104 Work Places including CBC and 07 other places.

β€œA total of 461 vaccination booths were organized. For which the district magistrate has appealed to the people of the district to provide their cooperation in ending the epidemic like Covid by getting maximum number of vaccinations,” DM added.
