Mathura, 22 Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Braj Raj Utsav organized in Mathura district on Thursday evening.

Due to the crowd of devotees on Devotthan Ekadashi, the Prime Minister’s darshan program of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi has been cancelled. Due to the crowd of devotees on Devotthan Ekadashi, the Prime Minister’s darshan program at Shri Krishna’s birthplace has been cancelled.

Earlier, the Prime Minister was scheduled to visit Thakur Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, Madan Mohan Temple, Shri Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura and Dwarkadhish Temple. There will be a huge crowd of devotees on Devotthan Ekadashi on Thursday. There are also a large number of marital ceremonies.

In view of this, SPG reached Shri Krishna’s birthplace two days ago and saw the arrangements and an agreement was made with the district administration only on the darshan of the birthplace, but now the program of visiting the birthplace has not been included. It is believed that this decision has been taken in view of the crowd gathering on the road and the inconvenience caused to the devotees due to the Prime Minister’s visit.

He will attend the birth anniversary celebrations of Mirabai organised at the railway ground in Dhauli Pyau, Mathura. Film actress and local MP Hema Malini will present a dance drama based on Mirabai in the programme.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present in the program.
