Mathura, 22 Nov: The holy town is getting ready for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to attend the ‘Braj Raj Utsav’ in Mathura on Thursday.

He will also see a presentation by Hema Malini, actor and Mathura parliament member, on Meera Bai, the 16th-century mystic poet and follower of Bhagwan Krishna. “In the city, we’re launching a special cleanliness program. Sweeping is taking place. We’re working hard to improve our horticulture. The AQI is being reduced by spraying water. The city is also being illuminated,” Chaudhary explained.
