PM Modi to interact with state and district officials engaged in Covid control

New Delhi, 17 May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday will interact with officials of the state and district level engaged in controlling pandemic in direct communication through video conferencing.

During this time these officers will share best practices and suggestions and recommendations being adopted by them in dealing with Covid in small towns and villages.

Officials from Karnataka, Bihar, Assam, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, MP, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi will participate in this dialogue with the Prime Minister.

The government said that the appreciation of the efforts of these officials will help in formulating effective response plans, implementing targeted strategies and necessary policy interventions.

These officers will be mostly from the districts where there has been a sharp increase in infection of Covid-19 pandemic and it is affecting the people widely.

These authorities have made new efforts for epidemic control and have found some best solutions.
