PM Modi inaugurates KSS Sanskrit Pathashala & hostel building

Mysore/New Delhi, 20 June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the new building of KSS Sanskrit Pathshala and Hostel at Suttur Math in Mysore, Karnataka.

Modi also released three books on the occasion.

During this, the saints associated with the monastery praised the work of the Prime Minister, in response to which the Prime Minister said that he would continue to work under the guidance of the saints of the country.

In his address on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that keeping in mind the tradition and needs of the country, a ‘National Policy on Education’ has been brought in the field of education. Education has been a natural feature of India. With this ease, our new generation should get an opportunity to move forward. For this, options are being given to study in local languages.

The Prime Minister said that our scriptures say that there is nothing as holy as knowledge, there is no other alternative to knowledge and therefore, our sages, mystics, coined India with that consciousness, which is inspired by knowledge, science. The era changed, the times changed, India faced many storms of time, but when the consciousness of India was weakened, the saints and sages in every corner of the country churned the whole of India and revived the soul of the country.

He stated that today when we are celebrating 75 years of independence of the country, then this period of nectar of independence is the best opportunity for everyone’s efforts. Our sages have given us this resolution of cooperation, cooperation and efforts of all in the form of Veda mantras like ‘Sahanavvatu, Sahanaubhunaktu, Saha Veeryam Karvavahai’. The energy that Lord Basaveshwar gave to our society, the ideals of democracy, education and equality that he had set are still in the foundation of India.

The Prime Minister paid homage to Goddess Mata Chamundeshwari, the presiding deity of Mysore and said that by the grace of her mother, he had the privilege of visiting Mysore and also got the opportunity to inaugurate many big works for development.
