Lucknow, 17 July: The administration of the recently opened Lulu Mall in Lucknow has issued a letter of clarification (LoC) over spreading rumours of being biased against the Hindus in hiring them.

As per the letter, the mall is said to be completely commercial, there is no discrimination of any caste and religion.

It is also written in the letter that the mall has more than 80% Hindu employees, the rest are Muslims, Christians and people of other religions.

The letter also stated that no one is allowed to conduct religious activities in the establishment

Meanwhile, the mall authorities have lodged an FIR against those who offered Namaz at the second floor of the mall.

The incident triggered a row after members of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha staged a protest outside the mall and had warned to recite Sundar Kand at the mall.
