Kanpur Dehat, 09 November: Following the decision given by the Supreme Court on the Ayodhya case, an objectionable and provocative comment was made through social media by a person from Kanpur Dehat district. Taking cognizance of the case, the police have registered this case under relevant sections and arrested him and drastic action will be taken against him, police said.

The Supreme Court of India today gave its verdict in the Ayodhya case. Abhishek, who lives in Akbarpur Kotwali area of โ€‹โ€‹Kanpur Dehat, after the Supreme Court’s decision,has made some objectionable remarks on social media. He did not realise how his commenting on social media could land him into trouble as the media cell of Kanpur Dehat police was constantly keeping an eye on social media. After Abhishek’s comment, swift action was taken on him. He has been arrested and registered under relevant sections and arrested and sent to jail, Kanpur Dehat police informed.

Superintendent of Police(SP) Anurag Vatsya said that his social media team was constantly working. After the verdict came, a young man named Abhishek made an objectionable remarks, who has been arrested and sent to jail. At the same time, SP has appealed to the people not to make any such remarks which disturbs the communal harmony otherwise strict action will be taken against those who will write such provocative remarks on social media.
