NSA imposed on Peace Party Chief Dr Mohamed Ayub

Lucknow, August 10: National Security Act (NSA) has been imposed on the National President of Peace Party Dr Mohamed Ayub, who has been arrested for spreading religious hysteria.

The Hazratganj police arrested Dr Ayub from Gorakhpur on July 31 for spreading religious hysteria. He is currently in jail.

Following the Government Order (GO), the police have taken action against Dr Ayub under the NSA.

After this, a case under Criminal Law Amendment Act and IT Act was filed against the National President of Peace Party Dr Ayub in Hazratganj police station for inciting religious sentiments.

It is noteworthy that Dr Mohamed Ayub had got an objectionable advertisement published in an Urdu newspaper in the capital and got it printed. After this, peace was affected in different areas of the city. Many religious leaders expressed their displeasure over this incident. In terms of security, police forces were deployed in different areas of the city.
