Srinagar, February 15: Jammu and Kashmir administration has imposed the Public Safety Act (PSA) on bureaucrat-turned-politician Shah Faesal. Shah Faisal has been booked under the PSA. However, it has not been decided yet whether Shah Faesal will be kept in his house or in the MLA hostel.

Shah Faisal left his Indian Adminitrative Services ( IAS) job and entered into politics and currently he is the President of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM).

It is noteworthy that Shah Faesal was taken into preventive custody on August 14 last year after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir. He was later placed in an MLA hostel.

Apart from this, PSA has also been slapped against former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Ministers Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and also on local leaders like Ali Mohammad Sagar, Sartaj Madni, Hilal Lone and Naeem Akhtar.
