Northern Railway Lucknow division tops in providing facilities to passengers, 38 million passengers traveled

Lucknow, 30 November: The Northern Railway Lucknow division( Northern Railway comprises of five divisions Ambala, Delhi, Ferozpur, Lucknow and Moradabad) has topped this year in providing medical, security and passenger facilities to passengers. Therefore, this year more than three crore 47 lakh passengers have traveled in trains from the stations of Northern Railway.

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjay Tripathi said on Saturday that the Northern Railway Lucknow division has paid a lot of attention to passenger facilities this year. Therefore, this year more than 38 million passengers have traveled in trains from stations of Lucknow division of Northern Railway.

He said that there were many conversations with passengers in the moving train. Northern Railway Lucknow division has been at the top in providing passenger facility, medical, security arrangements at stations on the basis of interaction.

“Along with this, the Northern Railway Lucknow Division has taken cognizance of the complaints of the passengers and disposed them off at an accelerated pace. The Northern Railway Administration is presently providing medical services in 14 districts of the state. Where a divisional hospital and 12 health units have been set up to provide medical facilities to the passengers, said Tripathi.

Sanjay Tripathi informed that medical relief vehicles have also been provided during the accident. Along with this, toll free number 138 and control room number 9794834924 were also provided for the passengers. At the same time, the work of providing medical facilities and sending hospitals to seriously ill passengers by stopping the train at the station is being done very promptly.
