North India including Delhi remains pleasant due to rains

New Delhi, 1 May: The weather is pleasant on Monday due to rain in the capital Delhi. There are chances of rain in entire North India including Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR will be cloudy in the next 24 hours. Also, there is a forecast of light rain with thunder. Wind can blow at a speed of 25-35 kmph in the capital. The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be around 28 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 21 degree Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal during the next 24 hours. Snowfall may occur in some areas along with rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The department has issued an alert for the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The department has said that a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to be active over Northwest India from the night of May 1. Because of this, it may rain at many places in Himachal Pradesh on May 2 and 3. There is a possibility of rain in the next 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
