Lucknow, 28 May: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that under the inoculation drive for the age group of 18 to 44 years, starting from June 1, one crore beneficiaries will be benefited. Guidelines have been issued to the concerned districts for the complete preparation of the campaign.
He was reviewing the Covid-19 management in a high-level meeting via virtual medium on Friday.
Yogi said that keeping in mind the widespread public interest, it would be perfectly appropriate to keep it unchanged, without any increase in the rate of electricity consumption.
On this occasion, Team-09 told the Chief Minister that in the last 24 hours, 2402 fresh cases of coronavirus infection have been reported across the state. At the same time, 8145 infected people have been discharged after recovering from the disease.

Speaking on the arrangements for prevention and treatment from Covid-19, the Chief Minister said that the State Government’s policy of ‘tracing, testing and treatment’ is proving useful in Covid control.
“At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has given the World Tobacco Prohibition Day-2021 Award to the State Tobacco Control Cell of Uttar Pradesh for its efforts to control tobacco.
He said that the massive testing campaign to protect the rural areas from infection should be continued effectively. Health Department and Medical Education Department should set up Post Covid Ward in all the districts of the state. Experiences related to encephalitis control of the state should be used in the establishment work of Piku and Niku.
He said that hygiene, sanitization and fogging are useful in the prevention of infectious diseases including corona.
Yogi said that by continuously patrolling the police, the partial corona curfew should be made more effective. At the same time, all wheat procurement centres were functioning effectively. No farmer should face any problem in selling wheat. Wheat procurement under MSP and distribution of food grains under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) should be carried out smoothly with full adherence to Covid protocols.
