Lucknow, March 24: Chief Minister Yogi launched Nivesh Mitra-3 at a program held at Lok Bhavan here on Tuesday. During the program, he transferred a subsidy of 2,781 crore rupees 12 lakh rupees to companies operating in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister strongly criticized the previous governments of the state.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the dream we had nine years ago is about to come true. Today, there is confidence that Uttar Pradesh is the most preferred investment destination for any entrepreneur in the world. Previous governments had lost this confidence. No entrepreneur wanted to invest. Today, thanks to the efforts of our Team UP, people are eager to invest here. Uttar Pradesh is also known as the food basket of India. The food sector holds immense potential. This sector has been significantly promoted in the last nine years. Despite 11% land availability, Uttar Pradesh produces 21% of the food grain. Efforts were also made to provide employment to the youth. A lot of efforts were made to make Uttar Pradesh an investment destination.

Chief Minister Yogi said that in early 2017, hardly anyone would come to meet us. When we would urge entrepreneurs to invest, they would laugh and say, “Invest in Uttar Pradesh,” in shock. They would say, “Five years ago, we had resolved not to invest in Uttar Pradesh. Now that you have come, we will consider it.” Mafia was running a parallel government in every district, tehsil, and police station. Then we decided to break the back of criminals. We adopted a zero-tolerance policy against crime and criminals. Efforts have been made to demonstrate zero tolerance and zero corruption. Now, even those who once refused to invest are calling and expressing their desire. Uttar Pradesh has a land bank of 75,000 acres for investment, the largest compared to any other state.

Yogi said that when he arrived, Uttar Pradesh had one and a half expressways. Today, the expressway area within the country has increased by 55 percent. With the inauguration of the Ganga Expressway, Uttar Pradesh alone will account for 60 percent of India’s total land area. We have 16 domestic airports and four international airports. Metro is operating in seven cities of Uttar Pradesh. Block, district, and state headquarters have been connected by two-lane roads. Today, two entrepreneurs from Gorakhpur came to this program to receive incentives. Investing in Gorakhpur was a dream. Due to lack of security, Gorakhpur entrepreneurs were investing in Gujarat. Today, these same people have established industries in Gorakhpur. Investment is happening in every sector of Uttar Pradesh. There is no problem anywhere.

He said that now factories are not allowed to be damaged in the name of trade unions. He reviews the Home Department every day. Even if I learn at 11 or 12 o’clock at night that members of a trade union are damaging factories, I immediately call the District Magistrate and Police Captain of the concerned district and tell them to hang those henchmen and throw them out of Uttar Pradesh. The fate these people have wreaked on Kanpur is before everyone. The investment application process has been significantly simplified. The single-window system, Investment Mitra-3, will significantly simplify the path for entrepreneurs. It provides a system from application to approval. Arrangements have been made to ensure that there is no interference. On this occasion, subsidies were distributed to 45 companies, and Letters of Comfort (LOC) were also provided to 62 companies. A MTO has been held with the entrepreneurs.

Chief Minister Yogi was accompanied on stage by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Industrial Development Minister Nandgopal Gupta Nandi, IT and Electronics Minister Sunil Sharma, Minister of State Jaswant Singh Saini, and government officials
