Nagpur: Israel diplomat also attends ‘Vijayadashmi’ celebrations at RSS HQ

Nagpur, October 15: Kobbi Shoshani, Consul General of the Consulate General of Israel, Mumbai, also participated in the Vijayadashami celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized at Reshambagh in Nagpur.

Due to the Corona protocols, the Sangh had made some changes in the nature of Vijayadashami celebrations this year. This festival is organized in a grand form at the Reshambagh Maidan in Nagpur, but in view of the global pandemic Covid-19, this year, the program was organized in the presence of a few selected guests and volunteers.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, President of Rashtra Sevika Samiti Shantakka as well as Consul General of Israel’s Consulate in Mumbai, Kobbi Shoshani attended the occasion.

Shoshani enjoyed the volunteers’ physical performance, exercise yoga and the tunes of Ghosh Pathak. After this he heard the entire speech of Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat.

After Vijayadashami celebration, Shoshani offered obeisance by offering flowers at the samadhi of Dr KB Hedgewar and MS Golwalkar Upakhya Guruji.

After the Dussehra program, Consul General Shoshani met RSS chief Bhagwat.

On this occasion, he discussed various topics with Bhagwat. The methodology and ideology of the RSS has been attracting different countries of the world. As a result, from time to time, diplomats from different countries meet the office bearers of the union.

On September 21, US Ambassador Atul Keshap completed his term. Before leaving India, Atul Keshap met Mohan Bhagwat in New Delhi.
