Mumbai: Retired police officer shoots at his two sons, one critical

Mumbai 14 June: A retired police officer residing in Airoli, Navi Mumbai shot his two sons of which one son was living in Vasai area and the accused father called him, police said.

After the incident, both the sons have been admitted to Indravati Hospital for treatment. In which the condition of one son is said to be critical. In the case, the Rabale police have arrested the accused father.

Rabale Police of Navi Mumbai has arrested retired cop Bhagwan Patil for shooting his own sons Vijay and Sujay. Vijay is in critical condition after being shot three times.

According to the police, Bhagwan Patil, a retired police resident of Airoli, called Vijay Patil, a resident of Vasai, at home to give a gift. After which Vijay came to Airoli house this morning.

During this, Bhagwan Patil fired three bullets at Vijay with a revolver, out of which two bullets hit him, while twp bullets passed through Sujay, both of whom were admitted to Indravati Hospital in critical state. Vijay’s condition remains critical, police told.  

Meanwhile, as soon as the Rabale police came to know about this incident, they reached the spot and arrested Bhagwan Patil.
