Mumbai: Maha ATS records statement of a woman who married a Pak national

Mumbai, 29 August: Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) recorded the statement of a woman who married a Pakistani national on Tuesday. The woman is a resident of Malegaon in Nashik district.

Sources said that the woman was first married to a businessman from Malegaon in Nashik district, but through social media, she had come in contact with a man from Pakistan. After this, the woman went to Pakistan and married him, and after a few days, she returned to Malegaon.

Meanwhile, information about this was received by the CISF, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, and the Maharashtra ATS. After this, the ATS went to Malegaon and recorded the statement of the woman.

The ATS team is interrogating the woman from a terrorist angle and is maintaining the utmost secrecy regarding the investigation of the case.
