Mumbai, October 30: The Andheri Metropolitan Court has ordered the Mumbai Police to probe the controversial tweet of film actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli by presenting a report by December 5.

Meanwhile, the court order has increased the troubles for Kangana and her sister.

Petitioner Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh said on Friday that Kangana and her sister had compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) by tweeting. At the same time, there were many more tweets related to spreading social discrimination. For this reason, he had filed a complaint against Kangana and Rangoli at Amboli police station.

In the absence of action on this complaint, a petition was filed in the Andheri Metropolitan Court for action against Kangana and Rangoli.

On Friday, the Andheri Metropolitan Court Judge Bhagwat Jhirpe heard the matter and ordered the Mumbai Police to investigate Kangana and sister Rangoli.

Judge Jhirpe has also ordered the Mumbai Police to report to the court by December 5 the investigation and action taken in the case.

It is noteworthy that the Bandra Court has also issued a similar order against Kangana and Rangoli.

Therefore, Bandra Police has issued summons to Kangana and Rangoli for questioning.
