Massive training program to tackle 3rd wave of Covid-19 to start from July 29 in Kashi

Varanasi, July 27: In view of the third possible wave of coronavirus, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has intensified the preparations. The state government will train more than two thousand people in the program starting from July 29 in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

However, all types of training related to Covid management will be given in this program. Different training will be given to the employees of many departments including Health Department, Municipal Corporation, Revenue, Education, Panchayat, Anganwadi, Police. This training program will be of one week.

District Magistrate (DM) Varanasi Kaushal Raj Sharma said that under the Disaster Management Act 2005, training programs are being conducted for prevention and effective management of infection.

โ€œThe venue and date for the entire training program has been fixed. Nodal officers and trainers have also been fixed. In this, training will be given to 194 people of Kovid Management, Data Management, Feeding, Call Center, Revenue, Health, Education, Municipal Corporation,โ€
 the DM told.

250 health department and other employees will be trained for sampling and testing. 50 people will be trained for grievance redressal management and 50 people for dead body disposal, in which there will be employees of health department, Municipal Corporation, corpse driver manager, ghat duty. In the work of distribution of medicines, the employees of Revenue Department, Health Department, Panchayat Department will be Anganwadi.

For hospital and ambulance management, 50 employees will take training in which health department, revenue department, police department, district level officers will take training. 56 people will be trained for oxygen supply and management and 400 people for contact tracing.

Similarly, 300 people including doctors and paramedical staff of health department will take training for RRT. The Health Department will take staff training for the cluster plan. Training will be given separately for monitoring committee, containment zone and sanitization at block PHC, CHC and zone headquarters on 05 and 06 August.

A spokesperson of the state government said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath defeated the first and second wave of Corona by landing at ground zero. Now he has already started preparing in view of the possibility of a third possible wave. In this sequence, the state government is going to run a massive training program in Varanasi from July 29.
