Maharashtra with 126 medals continues to lead, following by Harayana and UP at KIYG-2020

Guwahati, January 16: Maharashtra continues to lead in the third Khelo India Youth Games -2020 in Guwahati, winning 126 medals. The players from Maharashtra have so far won 33 gold, 37 silver and 56 bronze medals. Haryana is in second place after winning a total of 85 medals. Haryana has so far won 28 gold, 28 silver and 29 bronze medals. Uttar Pradesh ranks third with 54 medals. Uttar Pradesh has so far won 18 gold, 16 silver and 20 bronze medals.

At the Khelo India Games, host Assam is ranked 13th in the competition with 25 medals. Assam has won 06 gold, 08 silver and 11 bronze medals.

In the case of medals, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshdeep, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Puducherry, Sikkim, Ladakh are yet to be opened. The game was exciting on Thursday on the seventh day of the Khelo India Youth Games. The players saw a great enthusiasm.

It is noteworthy that Bhogali Bihu, the most important festival of Assam, started on Tuesday, which will last for three days. In view of this, a glimpse of Bhogali Bihu is being seen at the sporting venues.
