Maharashtra: State witnesses 27 coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours, 522 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai, April 27: Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that 27 more Covid-19 patients have died in the state of Maharashtra in the last 24 hours. In this way, the total number of people who died of coronavirus infection in the state has increased to 369.

Today, 15 corona deaths have occurred in Mumbai, 6 in Amravati, 4 in Pune, 1-1 corona patients have died in Jalgaon and Aurangabad. Today there are 15 men and 12 women among those who died of deadly disease.

The Health Minister informed that on Monday the total number of 522 new cases of coronavirus has recorded in the state. This has mounted the number of cases in the state to 8590. The number of corona patients in Mumbai has increased to 5776. So far, 219 people have died in Mumbai. Similarly, 1282 people in the state have been completely recovered from the pandemic and have been sent back to their homes.

The Health Minister apprised on Monday that treatment of 6735 patients in Thane division, 244 in Nashik division, 1193 in Pune division, 47 in Kolhapur division, 63 in Aurangabad division, 17 in Latur division, 135 in Akola division, 131 in Nagpur division and 25 patients of other states continue in Maharashtra.
