Maharashtra: Hotels, shops will remain open till 12 pm in Maharashtra: CM Thackeray

Mumbai, October 18: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has given permission to open shops and hotels in Maharashtra till 12 pm. He said that amusement parks in hotels would also be started soon.

The Chief Minister had called a meeting of Task Force officials and Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Monday at his official residence Varsha Bungalow.

After taking information about the situation of Corona in the meeting, the Chief Minister said that all hotels and shops in the state can remain open till 12 o’clock in the night. Its notification will be issued today itself. Similarly, state cinema halls, drama houses will start from October 22.

The Chief Minister said that it will be mandatory for the drivers of hotels, shops and cinema halls to follow the rules of Corona. Similarly, permission will be given to open amusement parks very soon.

The Chief Minister has directed the administration to contact the Central Government to get maximum number of vaccines and speed up the vaccination process. He said that the administration should also campaign on the vaccination of children at the earliest.

Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunthe, Additional Secretary Health Department Pradeep Vyas, Task Force’s Dr Sanjay Oak, Shashank Joshi were present on this occasion.
