Lucknow, 13 February: Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) North Zone Prachi Singh and her team carried out raids in several spa parlours under Ghazipur police station area in Lucknow on Saturday.
However, during this time, some objectionable materials were recovered from two spa centers. The girls present there were questioned by the police team.
ADCP North Prachi started inspection of Amaaya Spa located in Sector 12 of Ishwarpuri Colony of Ghazipur police station and found objectionable material at the first place. After half an hour of questioning there, the police team proceeded to other spa centers.
At the same time, some spa centers in the area were found locked after the police team reached the spa centers while at some other spa centers, chaos broke out when news of police raid reached at these spa parlours.
ADCP Prachi Singh informed that complaints of illegal work were being received in the spa centers for a few days. An inspection was done with a team and the registers and CCTV footage of the spa centers were examined. Some objectionable items have been found, some people have also been detained for questioning. If full information is clear, further action will be initiated.
