Lucknow, May 30: Two men, who reportedly put up the ‘Missing’ posters of the country’s Defense Minister and Lucknow’s Member of Parliament (MP) Rajnath Singh and Lucknow (West) MLA Suresh Kumar Srivastava, have been arrested by the Para Police Station on Saturday, police said.

Interestingly, Missing posters that were put up in the city are allegedly carrying Samajwadi Party poll symbol ‘cycle’.

Para police station’s Inspector Triloki Singh said that the arrested youth are named Sameer Khan and Jai Singh Yadav. Both of them are residents of Kashiram Colony.

According to the police, they together put up posters of the Missing of the two senior leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Rajajipuram and Para area on Friday night.

After which the police launched a manhunt by registering an FIR against both of them.

Meanwhile, the police are initiating further action against the accused on Saturday.

Saurabh Srivastava, son of MLA Suresh Srivastava, told that in the current situation some people associated with Samajwadi Party (SP) want to tarnish the image of regional MLA Suresh Srivastava.

“Similarly, the same attempt was made to malign the image of the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. However, the police was informed in this regard, where action is being taken by the police,” said MLA’s son.
