Lucknow: Entry into Ekana Cricket Stadium will be available via valid ticket, informs JCP L&O

Lucknow, 28 Oct: Only spectators arriving at Atal Bihari Bajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow with valid tickets will get entry said, Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) Law and Order Upendra Aggarwal.

Upendra Aggarwal said that spectators will be able to get the seats at Ekana Stadium only with the tickets taken from the ‘Book My Show’ website. People who get tickets from outside or through other websites will not be able to enter the stadium.

He apprised that the Lucknow Police will keep a complete vigil on any suspicious person in the stadium. Inspectors and sub-inspectors deployed for security will be present along with their colleagues.

He said that no private vehicles will be allowed to enter around the stadium. Buses, cars and motorcycles will be allowed to move in the direction of parking. If vehicles are stopped at intersections or intersections outside, they will be seized immediately. Arrangements are being made for smooth movement of vehicles on the traffic routes.

Regarding security, he said that Ekana Stadium and surrounding roads will be monitored with drone cameras. For security reasons, the stadium will open three hours before the cricket match. After which the spectators standing in the queue will be allowed to enter after inspection of their tickets. Two gates of the stadium have been kept open for special traffic.
