Lucknow Cops arrest 7 women, 2 men for flesh trade

Lucknow, 28 September: The Alambagh police station, while busting the prostitution racket, arrested seven girls and two men.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Vikram Singh said that complaints were being received for several days that the flesh trade is being done indiscriminately in Alambagh area. After coming to the notice of this matter, the police here was monitoring round the clock. On Tuesday, after getting the opportunity, raided and arrested seven girls and two youths. Incriminating items have also been recovered from them.

Alambagh Police station in-charge Amarnath Vishwakarma said that the arrested men, Harshit Pandey, resident of Babura village of Prayagraj and Mukesh Pal, resident of Shivnagar, Unnao, are being sent to jail after registering a case under the Immoral Prostitution Prevention Act and other sections.
