Lockdown Day 18: Positive cases crossing 7400 and taking 239 lives, virus entering new territories

New Delhi, April 11: Despite 21-day nationwide lockdown, novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19, a global pandemic has killed 40 more people in the last twenty-four hours in the country.

In this way the death toll has reached 239. At the same time, 1035 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of Corona positive patients has crossed seven thousand marks, so far a total of 7447 cases have been reported in the country.

According to data released by the Health Ministry on Saturday morning, 71 foreign nationals are tested positive for COVID-19. At the same time, there is also relaxing news that people are recovering from Corona infection. So far 643 patients in the country have returned home after getting well.

At the same time, the death toll from Corona in Maharashtra has reached 110. At the same time, the number of patients is also increasing rapidly. 1574 Corona infected patients are in Maharashtra.

On the other hand, in the country’s capital Delhi, Corona has also spread rapidly. So far 903 cases have been reported till date.

The rate of spread of corona infection in the country is highest in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. About 300 districts across the country are badly affected by global pandemic.

According to the Health Ministry, corona virus patients have now been confirmed in 31 states and union territories of the country.
