Lockdown 5.O Day 19: 18 more diagnosed with coronavirus in Lucknow

So far, 1,914 corona samples examined, 67 infected, 18 patients from Lucknow

Lucknow, June 19: Of the 1,914 samples tested on Thursday at the Microbiology Department of the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in the capital, 67 reported to be positive cases of coronavirus infection on Friday.

These include 18 from Lucknow, 17 from Sambhal, Shahjahanpur 13, 06 from Kannauj, 05 from Bareilly, 04 from Ayodhya, 03 from Barabanki and 01 from Hardoi.

Meanwhile, the process of increasing the number of corona cases in the state is not stopping. In many of the swab samples taken each day in various laboratories of the state, infection is being confirmed.

Apart from this, reports from other laboratories have also found many people to be coronavirus infected.

Reports of six people came positive in Deoria district on Friday. All have been admitted to Covid 19 hospital. Now the number of infected in the district has increased to 163. This has been confirmed by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Alok Pandey.

Three new infected have been found in Unnao district on Friday morning. Now the total number of positive cases in the district has reached to 119. The active cases are 67. So far, 49 patients have recovered and gone to their homes. Three people have died of Corona infection.

Three corona positives were found in Maharajganj district on Friday, while 10 people have been freed from infection after treatment. They were discharged from the hospital and sent home. This has been confirmed by the District Magistrate Ujjwal Kumar. The number of people recovering from Corona has increased to 81 while active cases are 49 in the district.
