Lockdown 5.O Day 14: MHA shifts four IAS officers to Delhi to assist Covid-19 battle

New Delhi, June 14: In view of the rising of coronavirus cases in the country’s capital Delhi, the central government has swung into action and to handle the situation, four officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) posted in Andaman and Nicobar and Arunachal Pradesh have been immediately called to Delhi.

Apart from this, two senior IAS officers of Delhi government SCL Das and SS Yadav have been directed to join the Centre.

All four IAS officers will try to overcome the rapid spread of corona pandemic while helping the Delhi government.

IAS Avanish Kumar, Monika Priyadarshini, Gaurav Singh Rajawat and Vikram Singh Malik posted in Andaman and Nicobar and Arunachal Pradesh have been transferred to Delhi.

Home Minister Amit Shah has instructed two senior IAS officers of Delhi government SCL Das and SS Yadav to join the Centre.

However, all these officers will try to overcome the rapid spread of corona epidemic while helping the Delhi government.

Home Minister Amit Shah also said that a joint team of Central Health Department, Delhi Health Department, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and three municipal corporations will visit all the hospitals in the capital. This team will oversee preparedness to fight the lethal disease and prepare a report.

On Sunday, Home Minister Shah held a high-level meeting in Delhi in view of the uncontrolled situation from corona.

In this meeting chaired by Shah, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan, AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria along with Lt. Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were present.

Shah assured the Delhi government that the central government would help Delhi from all levels in the fight against Corona.
