Lockdown 4.O Day 12: Uttar Pradesh moves towards flattening Covid-19 curve, claims Minister

Kanpur, May 29: The Uttar Pradesh government is working better on the containing the spread of coronavirus according to the guidelines issued by the central government, said Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna on Friday in Kanpur.

The doctors here are working day and night to treat the corona patients. In such a situation, the hard work of the Health Department is paying off and the cooperation of the administration is also appreciated. Due to this, it is seen that the spread of corona in Uttar Pradesh is being stopped and the chain of corona infection is being broken, said Khanna.  

Minister told that although its infections are still being found among outsiders, the government is also keeping a close watch on them and soon corona will be eliminated from Uttar Pradesh.

Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna visited Kanpur city on Friday and he first inspected the Lala Lajpat Rai hospitalโ€™s ( Hallett hospital) Emergency ward.

 During the inspection, Khanna saw the arrangements at Holding Area of the hospital where patients are being told to wait until the report comes out after a Covid testing.

He directed that along with the treatment of Covid-19 patients, other serious patients should also get access to treatment, including those who are suffering from heart disease, trauma, cancer or other serious diseases.

During the inspection, he also saw the cleaning system here.

He said that the Uttar Pradesh government has made a number of arrangements to stop the growth of coronavirus, there has also been a lot of success in stopping the spread of corona. The government is constantly monitoring to prevent the spread of corona. The entire world is affected by highly contagious disease.

He said that it is our aim that the fear of corona should come out from the minds of people and people should be aware to protect it.

After this, he inspected the Neuro Science Building of LLR hospital and took stock of all the arrangements there.

The Medical Education Minister also spoke to Aarti Lal Dave Chandani, Principal of the Medical College, separately and gave some guidelines regarding the corona at hospital.

During the inspection, Divisional Commissioner Sudhir M. Bobde, DM Brahmadev Ram Tiwari, Medical College Principal Aarti Lal Chandani and other concerned doctors were present.

Government focusing on protecting people

The Medical Education Minister said that we are fully prepared to deal with Covid-19.

In Uttar Pradesh, so far, there has been success due to the lack of corona spread. The government is still focused on this, with better treatment, people have to be saved from this pandemic with awareness. Expressing regret over the deaths from Corona, he said that every effort is being made to stop its advancement.

On the possibility of increasing Corona cases during the rains, he said that nothing can be predicted right now, however, people should focus more and more on protection.

The Medical Education Minister said that the State Government is serious about Corona and the Health Department is fully prepared. Due to this preparation, we are beating the corona to a great extent.

He said that 77 thousand beds are ready in various hospitals of the state regarding Corona. There will be no shortage in the treatment of corona patients, but efforts are being made to stop the spread of this epidemic.
