Lucknow, June 19: Due to coronavirus, this time programs will be organized through digital medium on the seventh International Yoga Day. This time in Uttar Pradesh, preparations are in their final stages for the Yoga Day. ‘Stay with Yoga, Stay at Home’ the theme of this Yoga Day seems to be giving the message of staying at home.

This time, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about ‘Yogi Sang Yoga’ in the day being celebrated on the digital platform. All offices, institutions and general public will do yoga by joining ‘AYUSH Kavach App’.

During this, broadcast will also be done through various mediums, seeing which people will be able to do yoga from home. Along with this, the selected participant through competitions will also be rewarded.

Initiative to connect people of all ages with yoga in Uttar Pradesh

A government spokesperson said that the Yogi government has made full preparations to connect people with yoga through the digital platform. In which a unique initiative has been taken to connect every age group. Various competitions will also be organized for this. More than 20 lakh people have been connected with the Ayush Kavach app. Apart from this, online training was also started from May 11 at 185 Yoga Wellness Center.

Various competitions will be organized

The spokesman said that on the occasion of 7th International Yoga Day, ‘Yoga Video Competition’, ‘Yoga Art Competition’ and ‘Yoga Quiz Competition’ would be organized under Yoga Day Challenge. Under the ‘Yoga Video Competition’, first, second and third prizes will be given at the state and district level. The competition will have three award categories for women, men and yoga professionals.

Similarly, children between five years to 18 years, youth between 18 years to 40 years, adults between 40 years and 60 years and senior citizens above 60 years of age can be included in each category. Under the competition, it is necessary to register at least 500 participants in each category at the state level and 50 at the district level.

Competition will be based on Indian culture, heritage

The spokesman said that under the ‘Yoga Art Competition’, a painting, poster or sketch on Yoga and Indian cultural heritage will have to be submitted online. Cash prize will be awarded to the best creative art. The selected art work will be published on the public portal. ‘Yoga Quiz Competition’ will be held online on June 21st.

The participants will be given 30 minutes to answer 50 objective type questions. The participants securing the highest marks will be awarded with a citation and cash prize. The competition will be based on yoga, environment and use of home medicines in the treatment of diseases in the present environment.
