Lakhimpur Kheri, 09 October: In the case of violence that took place on October 3 during farmers protest in the district, the crime branch is interrogating the accused Ashish Mishra in the police line for about seven hours.

During this, the magistrate, SIT team, DIG and SP are also present. Police have started preparations to present Ashish before the court.

Meanwhile, eight people, including four farmers, a journalist, were killed in the violence that broke out during the farmers’ agitation in the district on Sunday.

However, after the strictness of the police in this matter, Ajay Mishra, the son of the Union Minister, appeared before the Crime Branch in the police line on Saturday. Ashish was asked to appear in the police line by 11 o’clock in the day, but he reached the police line 15 minutes before the time.

During this, Ashish arrived with more than 12 pen drives with him. The pen drives have all the videos, photos which will show his presence during the incident. Ashish has been questioned by the Crime Branch on more than 40 questions. There have also been penned statements of Ashish Mishra before the magistrate.

During this interrogation, Ashish Mishra’s advocate Avadhesh Kumar was also present. He said that he would cooperate with the police in every way in this investigation. During interrogation, DIG and SP are also present in the police lines.

After the interrogation about this incident, now the crime branch team can present Ashish in the court. Such possibilities have started. Before this, the medical test of Ashish will be done.

However, on one side, Ashish was being questioned in the police line. At the same time, BJP workers created a ruckus outside the MP’s office in his support. The workers say that Ashish is innocent, he is being framed.

In view of Ashish’s appearance in the police line, the area has been converted into a cantonment. Barricades have been put up everywhere along the way. Policemen are deployed everywhere.

In the case of this violence, the police has detained the driver of Ankit Das from Lucknow. Police is interrogating him, while raids are on at many places in search of Ankit Das. It is alleged that the owner of the vehicles used in the violence is Ankit Das.
