Kedarnath/New Delhi, 05 November: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public meeting in Kedarnath on Friday said that many saints across the country are awakening spiritual consciousness.

The Prime Minister earlier inaugurated infrastructure projects here and also laid the foundation stone of several projects at Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile, Governor Lt (Retd) General Gurmeet Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that today all the monasteries, 12 Jyotirlingas, many pagodas, Shakti Dham, many pilgrimage areas, the eminent great men of the country, all the senior sages and many devotees associated with the revered Shankaracharya tradition present corner of the country are blessing us with this holy land of Kedarnath.

He said that all of you are witnessing the restoration of Adiguru Shankaracharya’s samadhi. It is a very ethereal view of India’s spiritual richness and breadth.

Quoting the Ramcharit Manas, the Prime Minister said ‘अबिगत अकथ अपार, नेति-नेति नित निगम कह’, that is, some experiences are so supernatural, so infinite that they cannot be expressed in words. This is how my feeling comes under the shelter of Baba Kedarnath.
