Kasganj: Yogi declares Sukar-Soron area as place of pilgrimage

Lucknow, October 28: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to declare the holy Sukar area-Soron located in Kasganj district as a place of pilgrimage while paying respect to the faith.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) gave this information by tweeting on Thursday in relation to fulfilling this decades-old demand of the Sanatan faithful.

With the protection of this ancient and holy shrine as a pilgrimage site, it will be easy to renovate many small pilgrimages coming under it.

Along with this, Chakratirtha, Yogatirtha, Suryatirtha, Somtirtha and Sakotkatirtha etc. will also be benefited.

Not only will this, along with development, new sources of employment also be available to the local residents by being declared a pilgrimage site of Soron Sukar area. For a long time, there was a demand from saints-mahatmas and various organizations to declare the Sukar area as a place of pilgrimage which the Yogi government has completed.

The Sukar region located in Brajkshetra, Soron is the Aditirtha of India. The importance of Soron Sukar area has been told in various Puranas.

It is believed that in the Soron Sukar region, Lord Barah is the place of Nirvana of Lord Vishnu as the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The Kund (Haripadi Ganga) under Soron Sukar area is the same place where Lord Barah ascended to heaven and since then the ashes are immersed in this pool after death.

The Soron Sukar region is considered as the pilgrimage center for salvation. With the efforts of the Yogi government, there has been a lot of progress in the last four and a half years from the point of view of religious tourism in religious, spiritual and mythological activities in and around Soron.

It will be beneficial if you get the status of a pilgrimage site.

The historical heritage of the pilgrimage will be preserved.

Important ancient religious places of pilgrimage can be renovated.

All necessary basic facilities will be developed for lakhs of pilgrims and tourists coming from different states of India.

Har Ki Pauri Ghat etc. will be developed by joining the category of pilgrimage site.
