IPL: Pre-recorded cheers, fans reactions boost TV viewers, players

New Delhi, 20 September: The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has begun. In the first match played in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, Chennai Super Kings started their campaign with a win by defeating Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets. The match was played at the empty stadium.

The special thing of this match was that even though the players playing on the ground were missing the audience, but the viewers watching this match on TV did not realize that this match is being played in the empty stadium.

In fact, IPL broadcaster Star Sports did such voice choreography ( Pre-recorded cheers, audience reactions) that the people watching on TV were hearing the noise of the audience in the stadium as before, it did not make the TV audience realize that the stadium was empty. It must be missing it.

It is noteworthy that in the first match of IPL, Chennai won the toss and invited Mumbai to bat first. Mumbai scored 162 for 9 wickets in 20 overs game. In response, Chennai achieved the target at a loss of 5 wickets in 19.2 overs.
