New Delhi, 9th September: To track the speed and number of vaccinations in the country on a weekly basis, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has prepared Corona Vaccine Tracker.
This tracker will be downloaded on the website of the Ministry of Health in a few days. ICMR Director General Dr Balram Bhargava gave this information on Thursday. He said that with the help of this tracker, we will be able to accurately assess the speed of vaccination.
He told that people should avoid crowds in view of festivals. Corona is not over yet, so people should adopt all measures to prevent corona virus. It is very important to wear a mask, follow social distancing and sanitize hands. On the study of the effectiveness of the vaccine, Dr Bhargava said that the first dose of the anti-corona vaccine is effective in preventing mortality by 96.6 percent. At the same time, the second dose of corona vaccine is effective up to 97.5 percent in preventing mortality
