Haryana is the first state in the country to have pre-budget discussion with MLAs of opposition as well

Two hundred and fifty suggestions received by the government in three days.

CM said that these suggestions will be included in the budget

Chandigarh, February 19: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that during the pre-budget discussion held in Panchkula for three days, all the MLAs have openly given their suggestions.

“A total of two hundred and fifty recommendations have been made by the legislators during this event which will be included in the budget after consultation with the officials of the Finance Department,” told CM Khattar.

Talking to reporters on the occasion of the pre-budget discussion, Manohar Lal said that the more the income will increase, the more the budget will increase.

“During the discussion on the pre-budget, there have been indications of increasing of revenue of the state from the MLAs and the suggestions that have come, now the budget will be prepared on the basis of their proposals,” Khattar added.

He said that the previous budget is set to increase. Now how much increase will have to be done, it will be told on the day of the budget itself.

All the MLAs have risen above their party ideologies and have given their vital suggestions in the state interest. There was no tug of war between the MLAs here instead  debate and good meaningful suggestions have come in it with which a consensus has been made that the state has to move forward. The Chief Minister expressed happiness that this program has not taken place in any other assembly across the country but Haryana has initiated such a program.

Speaking on the illegal construction, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that illegal colonies are a matter of concern.

“It is not that they are settled, they are also processed from time to time. It is very important to curb illegal colonies, because illegal constructions spoil the appearance of cities and everyone should worry about it. Also, it should be prevented from moving forward,” Khattar stated.
