Lucknow: Two-days seminar on astrological research was organised by the astrology department of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan [ Deemed University] at the Lucknow campus on Saturday. While the topic of the seminar was โthe importance of the astrology in the modern timeโ.
On the occasion, Padma Shri awardee and head of Sanskrit department of Lucknow University Prof. Brijesh Kumar Shukla highlighted the important facts about the astrology subject.
Chief guest Dhruv Kant Thakur [I.P.S.] encouraged the research scholars and stressed the importance of astrology subject.
On the concluding day of the seminar, Guest of honour , Jai Prakash Tripathi [I.A.S.] retd quoted the Upnishads [ a part of the Vedas, are ancient Sanskrit texts of the Hindusim] by saying, โ Speak the truth , follow the path of righteousness and never shirk self-study.โ
HOD of the astrology, Prof. Madan Mohan Pathak welcomed the guests by garlanding and offering shawls on the occasion.
